I am the Necromancer

'I am the necromancer' is a game developed by Paul Ferrara for the Kindred Game Jam 2020. 

The theme for the game jam was "Death is a new beginning" which may feel kind of left out in the game, and that's the case. My original idea for the game was to play as a necromancer and you could resurrect the dead that you fight off to fight on your side. This mechanic was very close to working, but still didn't properly function before the jam's deadline unfortunately. I learned a lot from the jam experience, but I'd love to fix this prototype into a real demo if you think the idea of being a spell caster who collects pages of a spell book and resurrects the unleaded to fight on your side would be fun.
